Time Lords

The Time Lords are an ancient extraterrestrial species, from the planet Gallifrey, of which the Doctor is a member. When they first appeared in The War Games (1969), they were described as a powerful and wise race, from which the Doctor was a renegade. Apart from all the serials that feature the Doctor and the Master, Time Lords appear in 12 stories. However, to be a true Time Lord story, it must take place on Gallifrey. These are The War Games (1969), Colony in Space (1971), The Three Doctors (1972-73), The Deadly Assassin (1976), The Invasion of Time (1978), Arc of Infinity (1983), The Five Doctors (1983), and in the scenes featuring the High Council in Season 23 - The Trial of a Time Lord (1986).
