The Third Doctor

The Third Doctor was portrayed by Jon Pertwee between 1970 and 1974, during Seasons 7 to 11. Pertwee reprised the role for the 20th anniversary story The Five Doctors (1983), the stage play Doctor Who - The Ultimate Adventure (1989), and the BBC Children in Need special Dimensions in Time (1993). He also recorded two audio stories broadcast on BBC radio in 1993 and 1996, the latter a few months before his death.
